"Stay Home, as well as the accompanying audio cassette and digital video, documents a never-exhibited multimedia installation -assembled from televisions, dioramas, photos, paintings, collected ephemera, mirroring the themes touched on in a 45 minute audio piece of recorded phone interviews that played within the installation. All the elements deal with travel- how it affects families, relationships, mental health. It takes a closer look at the image of the enviable, free and unencumbered traveler from both the view of the one out on the road and the ones left behind. Since disassembled, the book and cassette serve as the final product of the two year art project."
